Connected Remains
The trauma of war is hard to understand for people who live in peaceful years. The injuries, mental illness, and irreversible recovery seem to be far away. The Related Remains is a project that gradually formed with the experience in Hiroshima, watching war movies, and a visit to war remains in Shanghai. It’s intended to be a communal space that connects both sides of the Suzhou River, the past and present, struggle and embrace, anxiety and tranquility by creating moments for people to read, meditate, and interact.
